'మనకు కావలసిన స్నేహితులు వచ్చి ఒక్క లారీ సామాను మన చిన్న గదిలో కుక్కినా ఇంకా ఏమైనా సామాను వుంటే తెచ్చిపెట్టుకోండి అని ఎంతో సంతోషంగా చెబుతాము.
అదే ఎవరో వచ్చి ఈ సంచి మోయడం మాకు ఇబ్బందిగా ఉంది. దీన్నిక్కడుంచండి, ఒక గంట తర్వాత తీసుకుపోతాము అని అంటే, అబ్బే వీలులేదండీ, మాకే చాలా ఇబ్బందిగా ఉంది. ఇక్కడికి పదిమంది వస్తూ పోతుంటారు. వీలుకదండీ అని చెప్పి తప్పుకుంటాము. వీరికి ఇలాంటి సమాధానం చెప్పేందుకు అడ్డంకు అంతరంగంలో ఉంది. దాన్ని తొలగించుకోవాలి. అందరిలో సాయిని చూడడం వారికి సహాయపడడం నేర్చుకోవాలి. అలా చేస్తుంటే మన అంతరంగంలోని అడ్డంకు కొన్నాళ్ళకు తప్పక తొలుగుతుంది. అందుకు సాయి తప్పక సహాయం చేస్తారు. అందుకు మన inner efforts అవసరం.'

"Annihilating tendencies of mind to the wander, in the fire of dhyana is real Yajna according to the Bhagavatgita and the symbolism of Baba's dhuni. He is the fire; our notions of difference are the firewood. The resultant seeing Baba in all is fueling catching fire. "సాధన చెయ్యడానికి బాహ్య పరిస్థితులు అడ్డొస్తున్నాయని, సాధన వృద్ధి చెందకపోవడానికి బాబా దయ బాగుగ తమ మీద లేకపోవటమేనని, వాపోతారు కొందరు. కానీ అది సరికాదు. ఆయనకృప ఎప్పుడూ మన మీద కుండపోతగా వర్షిస్తూనే యున్నది. మన అహమే దాన్ని అనుభవవించనీయకుండా గొడుగులా అడ్డుకుంటుంది. ఈ అడ్డాన్ని తొలగించడమే చేయాల్సింది. సాధన స్విచ్ వంటిది. కరెంటు వున్నా స్విచ్ వెయ్యకపోతే లైటు వెలగదు. సాధనకు దోహదం బాహ్య పరిస్థితులలో మార్పు ఎప్పటికీ కాదు. మనలోని బలహీనతలే బాహ్య మైన అడ్డంకులుగా అనిపిస్తాయి. ఈ 'లోపల' అడ్డంకులు పొతే బాహ్యమైన అడ్డంకులు పోతాయి. ఏ విధంగా పరిస్థితులు మారితే సాధనకు బాగుంటుందనుకుంటామో, ఆ పరిస్థితి కావాలన్న కోరికే అంతరాయాలను ఆ పరిస్థితిలలోనూ సృష్టించుకుంటుంది. అసలు ఆమాట కొస్తే బాహ్యాన్ని గుర్తించడమే సాధనకొక పెద్ద అంతరాయం. బాహ్యాభ్యంతరాలను విస్మరించడమేగదా సాధన? కాబట్టి హృదయపూర్వకమైన నిశ్చయంతో సాధన చేస్తూ వుంటే మనలో వుండే అడ్డంకులు తొలగటం ద్వారా సాధన యింకా నిరాటంకమవుతుంది. కాబట్టి సాధనను అభివృద్ధి చేసేది సాధనే తప్ప ఇంకేమీ కాదని తెలుసుకోవాలి."

మన ఆంధ్రదేశంలో యీనాడు శిరిడీ సాయి ప్రచారమెంతో విస్తారంగా జరుగుతున్నది. ఎందరెందరో ఆయన లీలలవలన ఆకర్షించబడి శిరిడీ వెళుతున్నారు. అయినప్పటికీ మహారాష్ట్ర దేశంలోని భక్తులు శ్రీ సాయిని ఆరాధించటానికీ, మనలో ఎక్కువమంది ఆరాధించటానికీ ఎంతో వ్యత్యాసమున్నది. యిచటి విధానం, మన జీవితాలనే పాత యిళ్ళకు పైపైన సున్నం కొట్టడం లాంటిది; మహరాష్ట్ర దేశం లోనిది - ఇల్లంతటినీ పునాదులదగ్గరనుంచీ తిరిగి నిర్మించడం లాటిది. నిజంగా ఆధ్యాత్మిక జీవితంలో అడుగు బెట్టడమంటే మన పాత జీవితము, మనస్తత్త్వమూ మొత్తంగా తిరిగి నిర్మించుకొనడం వంటిదేనని, మరలా జన్మించడంలాంటిదేననీ ఋషులందరూ చెప్పారు.

అటు ఎలక్ట్రాన్ ప్రోటాన్ వంటి అతి సూక్ష్మమైన వాటినుంచీ అతి పెద్ద నక్షత్రకోవదాకా అన్నీ ఒకే పదార్ధంతో - అంటే శక్తి తరంగాలైన పరమాణువులతో చేయబడిఉన్నాయన్న సంగతి జ్ఞాపకం రాగానే ఎంతో ఆశ్చర్యంగానే వుంటుంది. కాని యిలా తెలుసుకొన్నంతమాత్రాన అన్వేషణ పూర్తికాదు. అలా చర్చించి అవగాహన చేసుకొన్న సత్యాన్ని అనుష్టించి అనుభవగతం చేసుకోవాలి.

మనం కొలిచే మూర్తిలో మనచేత కొలవబడేది అన్నింటిలోనూ వ్యాపించి, సర్వ భూతముల హృదయాంతర్వర్తియైన విశ్వచైతన్యం. అదే మన హృదయంలో ఉంది. ఎలా ఉంది? సాక్షిగా ఉంటుంది. అంటే దాని రూపం 'చూడడం'. దాన్ని అనుభవిస్తుంటే సర్వవ్యాపకుడూ, సర్వ భూత హృదయాంతర్వర్తీ అయిన ఆ శుద్ధచైతన్యమూర్తినే అనుభవించినట్లు. కనుక సగుణ సాకారమూర్తిని చరిత్ర పఠణ, నామస్మరణ, దర్శన, పూజనాదికాలతో ఆరాధించడానికి మనస్సు విముఖంగా ఉన్న మూడ్ లో అందుకు కలిగే మనోవికల్పాలను, యత్నిస్తున్న మననూ, చుట్టూ జగత్తునూ చూచే 'చూపు' ను గుర్తిస్తే చిత్తం నిలుస్తుంది. దానివల్ల సగుణ సాధన కూడా బలీయమవుతుంది. సగుణసాధన, నిర్గుణ సాధనలు ఒకదానివల్ల ఇంకొకటి పటిష్టమవుతాయి. కనుక రెండింటినీ సాధకుడు అభ్యసించటం చాలా శ్రేష్టం.

" నాపై నీ దృష్టి నిలుపు. నీపై నా దృష్టి నిలుపుతాను" అన్నారు సాయి. ఆయన గురించి అనన్యంగా చింతన చేసిన వారి యోగక్షేమమే ఆయన వహిస్తారు. ఇదే శ్రీకృష్ణుడు, రమణ మహర్షీ చెప్పిన శరణాగతి. ఇది అంత సులభంగా, ఒక్క సారిగా కుదరదు. అనుకున్నవి నెరవేరినప్పుడు మన విశ్వాసం పొంగుతూ, లేనప్పుడు క్రుంగుతూ వుంటుంది. సద్గురువు సాంగత్యము, సేవవల్ల మాత్రమే స్థిరమైన శరణాగతి క్రమంగా కుదురుతుంది. ఈ లోగా అన్యచింతలు, శంకలు కల్గి, మనస్సు ఆయన స్థితి మరచి చంచలమవుతూ వుంటుంది. అతి పరిచయం వలన శ్రద్ధ మందగిస్తూ వుంటుంది. ఇలాంటి ఒడిదుడుకులు లేనప్పుడే మనకు అయన సన్నిధి లభించినట్లు. అప్పుడే మనకు ఆయన నుండి సంపూర్ణమైన రక్షణ లభిస్తుంది."
